Bracknell faced Tadley with a mixed team and were clearly up against a large pack of forwards.

Those forwards made an impact early on as Tadley went 0-5 up within 5 minutes. Led excellently by Max S, Bracknell fought back with two tries out wide from the backs, Riley finishing with some explosive pace and Freddy B adding the extras 14-5. Tadley scored a try 5 metres out with their big No8 smashing over and with lots of resolute defence, 14-12 saw a close first half.

The second half saw the Tadley pack slow Bracknell ball down with Finn B working hard to get the ball out and to the backs.A couple more tries in the backs saw Freddy B cut through and show some mazey running to avoid defenders and then James F hacking through and running half the length of the field to dribble the ball up into his hands and score under the posts 28 - 17.

But as the match drew to a close, Tadley got on the front foot and three late tries meant they took the win, 28-38.

Tough for the boys but then a combination of missed tackles and loss of concentration meant they probably gave away a game they should have won.
