Teddington started the match brightly and quickly demonstrated their attacking intent. Making excellent use of the full width of the pitch, they combined pace, skill and intelligent running lines to move the ball effectively into space. Their speed in attack and ability to exploit gaps put Bracknell under early pressure, allowing Teddington to build a significant advantage during the first half.

Despite the challenging start, Bracknell never let their heads drop and showed tremendous character throughout the game. The second half saw a much-improved performance as Bracknell brought greater physicality, organisation and structure to their play. Their forwards worked hard around the breakdown, while the backs began to create opportunities with more controlled possession and direct running.
At times, Bracknell produced some excellent rugby, demonstrating the progress the squad has been making. Strong carries, committed defence and improved teamwork allowed them to compete far more effectively after the break, with the team deservedly adding points to the scoreboard.

While the result did not go Bracknell's way, there were many positives to take from the performance. The all-round effort from every player was outstanding, and the attitude, commitment and determination shown throughout the match were a real credit to the squad. The players continued to work hard for one another until the final whistle, displaying the values and spirit that will serve them well as the season progresses.
