Great to see a good turnout from Bracknell as we made our way across the M4. We settled into a usual training routine with a normal warm up before a few drill stations. Coaches from both Maidenhead and Bracknell mixing up the players. The games at the end looked impressive from the A' to the Development squad, 4 pitches with approx 60 kids having a great time. I cannot say for sure but I think the Bracknell players excelled at all levels. Well done to William Hullis and Josh Riles for Effort and Player of the week.
The £40 parking tickets at the end was a little shameful from the local parking enforcement officers. Not exactly what I call fair play, I will be writing a note to the local council expressing disappointment at the Sunday morning raid with easy pickings of visiting children's parents pockets. A very bitter taste after a nice trip to another club. Wouldn't it have been nice for the men in caps to be there warning parents that they need a permit, otherwise you'll get a ticket! I think a council revenue scam and every weekend the same thing occurs.
Let's hope for a dry weekend on our visit to Redingensians. Please park careful!
