It was a fantastic morning for the Under 8s; of the eight matches played against either Staines or Wasps we won seven of them and drew the eighth! 26 players made the trip with our numbers almost eclipsing those of our hosts and Wasps put together.

My overall impression of the morning was that we have made incredible progress since the beginning of the season. Our attacking play was excellent, although we do still tend to drift wide giving our wingers little space to achieve anything.

Our defensive play this morning, particularly from the A team, was outstanding. To not conceed a try in three matches takes some doing and to make the opposition not even look able to cross the line is even better.
