Bracknell A’s got off to a good start at The London Irish ‘eteach’ Matchday Festival held on Saturday 5th December at The Oratory School, Woodcote, with a strong win of 6 tries to 4 against Wootten Bassett. They then went on to win 5–4 against Alton after falling 2-4 behind. After this they cruised to a 6-1 victory over Oxford White and then backed this up with a convincing win over Overton 4-1. This resulted in Bracknell A’s winning their pool and playing against Oxford Green in the final at the Madjeski Stadium during half time of the London Irish V Worcester Warriors match. Unfortunately Bracknell lost this match 5-3 so ended up being runners up. But despite this there had been some great tries scored during the day - the top scorers were Michael O’Donoghue, Aaron Smith and Paul Studd. And there was outstanding support play and tagging from the whole team.
The A team players were Aaron Smith, Ben McEwan, Mackenzie Forth, Max Hopley, Michael Dykes, Michael O’Donoghue, Oliver Warner, Paul Studd, Thomas Wells, William Field and William Harding.
