Astro Session

Hi All

A full report has been to sent to all parents that attended but firstly a huge thanks to Wendi for bringing down food and drinks to Garth and also to the coaches, parents and players that attended.

This session was at Garth and as explained it has to be a non contact session because we understands it has not been approved by the RFU and therefore we would not do anything that broke the rules. However, just because tackling was not involved, it doesn’t mean that the session was not fun or useful.

Without the complications involved in tackling it allowed us to go back to basics to remind kids about the importance of ‘go forward’ and spreading out through fun games and activities.

Leu was trainer of the week for excellent commitment and ‘coachability’ throughout the whole session, well done!

Next week I’m on the final assessment day of the ERCA but the details of the trip to ‘Ensians has gone out already. Please reply promptly so the hot dogs can be ordered!

See you the week after when we are scheduled to be at Wycombe.
