Visit to Abbey

Hi All

In the usual manner a full report will be sent to all families that attended but we travelled to Abbey as a squad to attend a joint training session. Abbey, as always, we’re great hosts and put on a fantastic session that got the balance right between playing and learning both in a social way and a semi competitive way.

The BRFC players that travelled showed not only that they were good rugby players but also increased the friendship between the two clubs by showing great TREDS. After all it wouldn’t be rugby if you couldn’t play your hardest, then shake hands and enjoy a hot dog in the bar with your opposition.

Finn was trainer of the week for showing a great attitude and effort, as well as high skills, and being a real credit to his team. Well done Finn!

Next week we are due to host Newbury RFC at 10am and also please remember to support the fireworks at the club. It should be a great evening and a chance to mix.
