Training after Festivals

Hi

Firstly, thanks to all those that came on Friday to the one club social. It was great fun and good to see you all there.

After two weeks at festivals it was great to be back at Lily Hill Park in a training session. A full on session was carried out to work on what we do well and to improve in other areas. We rotated through the drills and also across the different areas of the pitch.

Go forward was the theme of this but getting the balance right was important so the kids had fun whilst also learning. Some great performances today and some special moments such as ‘the tackle’ from Henry C and the effort from Kailan in the game we did that was working on staying in play were two such moments. However Jack won trainer of the week for an all round and constant effort, commitment and high skills being shown. Well done to all but especially to Jack.
