Fab U9 3rd Session

Our third session at U9s, and therefore our third session involving ‘contact’, was again a great session with huge improvements had across the board. The newer players are integrating with the players that have progressed up from U8s and there is a real team spirit and ethos beginning to form. Again, we had some new faces mixed into the group and these were welcomed by all.

As always, an in depth report has been sent to all families that attended but the continuous step by step progress is clear to see.

Dexter won player of the week for not only showing some great skills but epitomising the effort, spirit and ethos that we are keen to cultivate. Well done, a great performance, especially from a child new to Rugby this season.

Also, I know I have privately said but a public thank you to all the coaches that assist and also to Wendi our manager. We could not function as a team on the pitch if we do not function as a team off the pitch and their influence is great. Thank you.

As discussed at the session, if you wish your child to be eligible for the festivals, commencing in October, then you must be a member of BRFC and get your membership form and payment in immediately. Also please can you confirm your child’s availability for the initial two festivals on 1st and 8th October direct to me so we can juggle the squad to try and ensure maximum participation by all. If you could reply by Thursday 21st September, then I hope to juggle the squads and make the selections by Monday 25th September.
