Inspired by a fantastic performance from the 'A' team, Bracknell B took to the field against Redingensians B and did not disappoint, they played what must be one of their best ever games. In front of a large crowd Bracknell B started a little nervously and some last gasp tackling stopped them from conceding an early try. The game was a little scrappy but midway through the first half the Bracknell pack took charge and never looked back. The forwards fought for everything and supported each other in numbers dominating the rucks and mauls, each and every one of the forwards played exceptionally well, but Joe Bennett seemed to have stepped up an extra gear. A good attacking move was stopped just short of the line, the Bracknell forwards arrived in quick support with James Williamson scoring the all important confidence boosting first try. With the pack winning so much of the ball at last the backs had a chance to consistently attack. Some of the moves were possibly a bit over elaborated, but the way the ball moved down the line at speed and taken on the full sprint for Tom Adams to score two tries was attacking incisive rugby at its best. After the match the Bracknell B captain, who is a forward, modestly said that the backs had won the game by strong running, which was true, but they couldn't have done it without the best display from a Bracknell B pack this season.
