It was going to be an interseting morning with only 16 players available due to unavailability, injury and county trial; against a 30 player squad for Aldermaston.
Those available to play gave the coaches a chance to try some of the players in different positions or give players more game time.
The first half saw a fairly even contest with Aldermaston edging it 5-0, although this could have been different as both sides had possible tries disallowed by the referee as held up.
The second half saw Aldermaston bring on fresh legs and this started to make a difference against a tiring Bracknell squad. Some poor tackling allowed in two tries under the posts, with both being converted. One was a well worked set piece move, with a centre coming from the blindside which Bracknell failed to pick up quickly enough.
Bracknell didn't give up and scored a try (Marcus) with the last play of the match following apenalty on the Aldermaston 5-metre line,to add to the two earlier penalties put over by Kieran.
Next week the squad return to OBB League action against Oxford Harlequins at Bracknell.
