BRFC U13 mixed A+B lose to Weybridge Vandals

A really good effort today but sadly not enough to beat a strong Weybridge team. We dominated the first 5 minutes and nearly scored, unfortunately that quickly turned in to us being 14 - 0 down and then from that point we were chasing the game. We let them run through us for another try at the end of the first half and it was a mountain to climb.
An excellent fight back in the second half showed real spirit and guts but sadly not enough time left and too much to do. Tom SJ ran in two tries and I really thought we were going to do it. But not to be.

There are huge positives from today that we need to remind ourselves of . . .
1) All 26 boys available got at least one half of a competitive game of Junior Rugby 2) A game on the First Team Pitch with the pitch "dressed" for a First Team game and a huge crowd enjoying all the boys playing a good game.
3) A brilliant example of Rugby played the right way. Competitive but respectful and fun.
4) We made a friend in Weybridge Vandals today. They were really pleased and called us a "Real Rugby Club"
