Second win of the season

It was our pitch one debut for the season, and we knew it would be a good test early in the season as they had beaten us this time last year.
We agreed with Chobham to play three thirds, starting with our A teams, and we cleverly started with downhill advantage.
Within a few minutes we were defending a Chobham lineout on the right touchline, stole it and played a great running move across the pitch allowing Matteo to score from left wing. Louis W scored the first of many conversions, 7-0 to the good.
We then stole another Chobham ball on the left side, a great break by Ben offloaded to Nat and passed to Scott on the right wing, 12-0. Louis W almost scored from wide out, a rare miss.
We then camped in their half for ages without scoring, Scott nearly scored from the halfway line. We then stole their scrum on the right side just outside the 22, passed down the line for Thomas to score, Louis converted 19-0. We pinched ourselves, the first third could not have gone better!
We then started to roll some changes, but the quality continued. A great Bracknell move worked down the left, some good interplay allowed Will to break through. Three Chobham players managed not to tackle him, Louis converted to give 26-0.
Straight from the restart, little Joe aka supersub, caught the ball, wriggled and jinxed and managed to score under the posts, for Louis to convert - 33-0!!
We then had a long period of scrappy play on the halfway line, before big Lewis broke through, swatting Chobham players off like flies for a great score under the posts - 40-0 with Louis’s extras.
We then spent a long period defending, doggedly holding on including an epic try saving tackle from Nat, before finally conceding at the end of the third to go in 21-7 up for the third, 40-7 overall.
The final third began with us letting a Chobham flier run from inside their half and we flapped at him instead of tackling him, so it became 40-12.
Soon after Ben stole a dropped Chobham pass to score allowing another conv for 47-12.
We then had another scrappy phase of play, conceding lots of penalties but defended solidly. We eventually progressed into their 22, leading to new Harry scoring - maybe overconfidently with a one handed touchdown - and Louis adding the extras for 54-12.
Overall an awesome whole squad performance, and the development players slotted really well into the team and did the club credit.
