It was a good game Saturday, I think everyone enjoyed the physicality of it, the end result was probably not a surprise. We were 0-12 at half time and held them to 0-19 at full time, with some near misses on not being able to cross the line for us.

Bullet never made it so we are hookerless throughout the game and Charlie did not make it too, but the “rotating” front five did well with Graeme, Andy, Stu, Matt and Jim swapping around regularly with no loss of power. We destroyed them in the front five but their backs were able to run around us and make the extra man. Our lineout was good too with us throwing up Dan Torney, winning most of our ball and spoiling lots of theirs. Good first games from James K and Ed with a good second game from Jim Flynn. Reading had some second team players in as well, with some really strong running, so not a bad result. Dave Blackman turned up and was strong, Hummers has still not lost it and was awesome! Ref was the best we had all season; we were able to push as hard as we liked.
