On a gloriously sunny day that you would have not though possible just over a month ago Bracknell secured a 43-22 bonus point victory over the Seasiders.

At half time Bracknell led the Seasiders 17-8 with three trys from Stuart Mackay, Ken Dowding and Ben Yates who also added a conversion. Weston's points coming through a Jack Skelton penalty and a Dave Bufton try.

After the break Nico Maybury increased the Bracknell lead with an early try which secured the bonus point, before Matt Watkins try reduced the arrears on the hour which Jack Skelton converted.

Bracknell replied immediately through Ken Dowding's second try, followed quickly by a Chris Brember try with replacement Andy Slade converting both. With ten minutes remaining Weston's Ben Cox and Nico Maybury were sent to the sun bin, for the rest of the game.

Weston again reduced the arrears through a Dave Bufton try, again converted by Jack Skelton. With the final play of the game, Joe Price crossed for Bracknell's seven try, converted by Andy Slade.

BTW - Has anyone has seen BRFC's special match reporter on the day??? He was last seen leaving the BRFC clubhouse at closing time claiming 'cabs are for wimps'!!! A 70 min walk home might have changed his mind.....we looking forward to hearing the full story next Saturday....!
