Having lost in the final play of the game last weekend Bracknell traveled to Brixham for their final away game of the year. Taking the over the captaincy for the day from the absent James Ingle was Michael Clarke. Giuseppe Salustri was making a welcome appearance for 1XV after a number of seasons away and Max Edwards was back in the starting line up.
Bracknell started the first half playing up the Brixham slope.
Brixham opening the scoring with a converted try from winger Andre Simonnetti with 14 mins of the game gone. Bracknell countered 4 minutes later with a try from Simon Bayliss, conversion going wide. 7-5
Brixham now exerting the pressure extended their lead with a try out wide from scrum half Noah Nash before he added his second on the day under the Bracknell posts. 21-5.
With Brixham making changes in the pack a catch and drive saw hooker Koree Britten cross Bracknell line for Brixham bonus point score. From an almost carbon copy of his first try Koree Britten extended Brixham lead with his second try of the day.
Half time: Brixham 33-5 Bracknell
Brixham would open the scoring of the second half with a converted try to increase their lead to 35 points. This seemed to inspire Bracknell and now attacking with the slope tries from Gabe Hill, Max Edwards and a further brace from Simon Bayliss to go with try from the first half to complete his hat trick, secured Bracknell a four try losing bonus point.

Elsewhere in the league second placed Newton Abbot suffered a loss at home to Bracknell’s next opponents third placed Bournemouth, which with Dings win at Lydney, this sees Dings lead open an eleven point gap in the league. Although having picked up a bonus point on the road Bracknell still find themselves third from bottom, one point behind Newbury Blues (who are Bracknell's first opponents in 2018) and four points behind tenth placed Camborne. Now at the half way point of the season Bracknell record is 4 wins, 8 loses and 1 draw.
