A PreSeason friendly for our Senior women’s team on Sunday 18th September as they welcomed Andover Ladies RFC to the club grounds. As both teams stood side by side for a minute’s silence in memory of Queen Elizabeth II it really showed how much the women’s team has grown over the past year.

A great start from the home team as the pressure put on the Andover ladies defence causes them to change the direction of attack, Andover find a Gap in the defensive line and dive over the Try Line with a missed conversion.

Shortly After Bracknell have a scrum with the Forwards Pushing Andover Back see’s a quick Ball out and find the hands of Joy Chapman who Sprints down the Right wing securing a Try for Bracknell with a Successful Kick over the sticks.

Great Display from both sides as the Game continued on but Andover find themselves back in Bracknell 5M line with there forwards continuous crash ball they secure another try with a missed kick.

As the 2nd Half began and fresh legs were on the field Bracknell displayed a fantastic defence pushing Andover back in their territory, Pressure from the Bracknell Team saw Andover knock on the ball and quick to the mark Joy Chapman Tapped and go as she ran down the right wing securing another try with the kick just short of the sticks.

Not ready to give up the fight saw Andover again trying to push though the Bracknell Defence but finding no way to do so, resorting to quick hands out they move the ball from the left of the pitch out to the right finding a space as they gain another try with no conversion.

Shortly after Bracknell Find themselves again within try time distance, with the Forwards pushing Andover back sees them gain possession as the ball is handed out again to Joy who secures a Hat -trick for the team just shy of the sticks on the kick though.
