Hartpury College U18s Girls Pre-Season Festival

Two of Bracknell RFC's U18s Girls will make the journey to Gloucestershire on Wednesday 30th August to compete in the Hartpury College U18s Girls College Rugby Festival.

Both Iris Komuhendo and Malene Bowden-Evans have been members of the Bracknell Girls section for a number of seasons, playing both selective County Rugby and ERDPP Rugby with other members of our team.

The pair have been selected into the Elite Girls Rugby Programme at The Henley College, Oxfordshire, run by Ealing Trailfinders Women's Academy, which will run alongside their full time further education. Ealing Trailfinders Women are one of the new teams invited to compete in the Women's Premiership 15s Competition from the 2023/24 season.

As well as training at the club at Calfridus Way in recent weeks, they have also been training at both the Henley College and Brunel University, benefiting from the state of the art training and playing facilities, full time professional coaches and medical, nutrition and physio support.

On Wednesday at the festival, Henley College are due to have fixtures against:

1100hrs v Hartpury Women 2's
1200hrs v City of Oxford College
1430Hrs v Coleg Gwent Women

The Festival will be live streamed and can be accessed via the following link:
