It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Tom Agar on Sunday 14th November 2010.
Tom will be missed by very many of us at the club and our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
~Bracknell RFC Executive Committee
Tom passed away at the young age of 26 after a long and courageous fight against illness.
Tom began his playing career at Bracknell RFC as a youngster and continued through the age groups until he became a valued member of the 1st team squad at a time when the club was riding high in the National Leagues. Tom became known for his tenacity in the loose as well as his hard hitting in the tackle, he played with heart and true grit whichever Bracknell team he played for.
Socially, Tom also led from the front, as a true grassroots player, and epitomised what rugby is all about. His broad grin and rapier wit will be missed by all at Bracknell RFC, his memory will live on and Tom Agar will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace Tom.
Minute's Silence for Saturday's Games
