The club is saddened to report that Paul Rendall has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.
After an illustrious career with Wasps and winning 28 caps for England, Paul joined Bracknell RFC in 1991 as its Head Coach and thereafter Director of Rugby. Paul brought tremendous success to the club including 5 promotions in 6 seasons getting us into the 2nd division (now called The Championship) until his departure at the end of the 2000/2001 season.
The club has been in contact with the family and is offering Paul and the family any support it can give.
Bracknell RFC will also be holding an event before the end of this season to look to raise some money.
In the meantime the club sends its best wishes to Paul, Sue and the family.
