John joined the club in the early 1970s as a player and remained a central figure in the Bracknell rugby community for decades. Beyond his time on the field, he gave tremendous service to the club, helping to run the bar at both the old and new clubhouses and serving as Bar Chairman for many years.

John was also an ever-present supporter of the club, rarely missing a 1st XV fixture and always offering his time, warmth, and encouragement to players and members alike.

He will be greatly missed by everyone at Bracknell RFC and Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

The club will share details of funeral arrangements once known.
