Dear Members,
Bracknell RFC is pleased to announce our NEW community club link with Harlequins RFC.
Since the sad demise of London Irish from Premiership Rugby, the club has found itself without a formal link to the elite level of English rugby. These links are beneficial to both the Premiership Clubs and to the community clubs alike, with both benefiting from each other’s engagement.
Based at The Stoop, Twickenham, both Harlequins Men’s and Women’s teams contain a host of rugby superstars, both national and International, with both sides regularly competing for top honours in the Premiership, European Champions Cup, and in the Premiership Women’s Rugby (PWR).
There are many exciting things planned with Harlequins and to kick off our new association, members of Bracknell RFC are to be offered community discounted ticket prices to Harlequins big game at Twickenham Stadium branded as the “Big Summer Kick Off!” to be held on Saturday 27th April 2024 k.o.1505Hrs. This will feature Harlequins v Northampton Saints in the Gallagher Premiership, Live Music and much, much more. Past acts have included Craig David and The Kaiser Chiefs. It should be an excellent end of season finale!
Tickets for the event will be priced at £30 for Adults and £20 for Children (Under 18s) instead of £42.50 and £30 respectively.
Tickets at this discounted price will only be available via a unique online booking link provided to the club in due course and later circulated to members. There will be no booking fee – Harlequins will pay the booking fee for a further saving.
In advance of that, and just so we know how many seats to reserve, we need an early indication from members of who would wish to attend. This is so areas of Twickenham Stadium can be reserved for Bracknell Rugby Club and also because the unique link will have a ticket limit and an end date based upon the responses.
This is not a commitment to purchase the tickets, just an indication of how many you would like, and there is no promise of availability. When the unique purchase link goes live – that’s when our engagement will be measured. The below form is for the wider club, senior members and supporters, our social members, vice presidents etc.
