Bracknell Under 14s fielded two mixed ability sides over the weekend, as they travelled to Hungerford and Camberley, for two friednly fixtures.

Both fixtures were hard fought and physical affairs, with end to end action and drama throughout. Both sides encountered well drilled and ambitious opponents, which saw the games played at pace.

Against Hungerford, Bracknell took an early lead through some super team tries. Alex, George M and Tawen getting on the scoresheets early on, while Fred B added the extras with the boot. A strong comeback from Hungerford late in the second half, and a collapse of morale and composure from Bracknell, saw the game slip away from them. The final result of 29-32 to the home team.

For the second squad, lead out by Charlie, the result was much more hevaily in Bracknells favour. Epitamised by a superb solo score from Kaiden, Bracknell were dominant in the contact area and used this to their advantage across the field. Thumping hits from Braxton and WIll, aswell as Riley showing pace out wide, were amongst the highlights of the day. AN emphatic win of 7-42 for Bracknell.

Next week sees theboys return to cup action as the U14 squad take on Newbury at home, while the Development squad travels to Maidenhead.
