On Saturday 17th July our senior ladies team took part in the Abbey spirit 7s tournament.
With no competitive rugby for the ladies since the end of the 2019/2020 season they were excited and ready to enjoy the game once again that they love and know.

With this being the first run out newly appointed head coach Gareth Griffiths was to see of the ladies, it was exciting to see how well the girls took game play techniques from training on to the pitch. With new players running out for the first time in to a full contact game it was apparent that the hard work on each Wednesday session is being seen by all, on and off the pitch.

With the ladies walking away as the Abbey Spirit 7s bowl winner we look forward to having them run out for the 2021 season later this year.
