The Club were notified by the Borough Council Parks Manager of an accident that has occurred to our posts on Pitch 3 yesterday afternoon.

I am pleased to report that no one was hurt by the felled tree that toppled in an unexpected direction as part of ongoing works in Lily Hill Park. However, our newest set of posts have not survived.

Please can I ask members avoid that area of the pitch as the structural integrity of what remains is compromised and we would hate for any members to be injured by the remnants.

We are in contact with a supplier and in dialogue with the council to arrange removal and replacement - to get Pitch 3 viable again as soon as possible.
