We are pleased to announce that Adam Gillings has been co-opted onto the Executive Committee as our new Chair of Women & Girls Rugby at Bracknell RFC.
Adam has a wealth of experience and passion for developing women and girls' rugby. Currently serving as Head Coach for the U12 Girls team, alongside the U15 Boys team, he has a track record of supporting and growing individuals within the sport. Outside of the club, Adam is Head Coach for the Berkshire RFU U18 Girls team and coached the U16 England Rugby Girls Development Player Programme. He will prove to be a valuable member of the Executive Committee during a transformative and exciting time for women and girls' rugby, managing the clubs' strategy on female rugby from the mini's through to the senior women's team.
Talking about the opportunity, Adam comments:
"I am absolutely honoured to have taken on this pivotal role at a very exciting period for female rugby. We already have one of the strongest set ups within the county and I am relishing the challenges ahead and supporting the section to grow and develop and achieve it's maximum."
We wish him all the best in his new role.
