Bracknell Rugby Club look forward after a successful season all round.

Season update

Bracknell Rugby Club has just completed a very successful season in which they successfully gained promotion into level 5 of the English Clubs Leagues.

Having completed a lengthy review of the adult games competition structure, the Rugby Football Union (RFU) has now confirmed the Club's male senior teams league positions for next season.

The clubs 1st XV has been promoted to Regional Level 1 (fifth level of Clubs in England) where it will encounter old and new strong opposition. These will include:

Local rivals Maidenhead, London Welsh and Camberley as well as games against,

Bournemouth, Brighton, Havant, Sutton and Epsom, Royal Wooton Basset, Wimbledon, Banbury and Oxford Harlequins.

The clubs 2nd XV have been readmitted to the Leagues. Following their highly successful season they will now play at the highest level at which 2nd XVs are allowed to in the League Structure (Level 7).

They will play:

The 1st teams of High Wycombe, Reading Abbey, Marlow, Milton Keynes, Wallingford, Bicester, Gosford All Blacks, Swindon College Old Boys, Thatcham and Bletchley along with Chinnor 3XV

The third and fourth XVs maintained their league levels and even the third and fourth XV are playing local 1st XVs.

All fixtures, along with those for the Women senior team and Junior fixtures, will be published by the end of June. These will be available to view on the clubs website.

The Club will continue to provide rugby for all levels of ability, at all ages (Under 6s to over 50s) both male and female next season and new members to Bracknell's highly successful largest sporting club are always welcome.
