Congratulations to Bracknell Girls Players Ella, Elle, Imogen, Leila and Maddison who have been selected into the Great Britain Tag Rugby Mixed U23s side who will participate in the ITF Tag Rugby World Cup in Coff's Harbour, NSW, Australia this weekend.

The girls are part of the club's clustered U18s Team who represent both Bracknell RFC and Chobham RFC under a partnership agreement.

Tag Rugby is a fast paced, non-contact version of rugby where players use their pace, side steps, agility and passing accuracy to out-fox their opponents in a 7 a side format. There are no conversions/penalty kicks. Players are grouped by age and compete in Mens's, Women's and Mixed teams in Open and Senior categories.

Having come through the local and London Trial processes, the Girls will take their places in the GB Team and play matches against Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland and other associate member nations to reach the knockout phases.

We hope all those travelling have a fantastic weekend and lets hope they can bring home the Gold Medal for their efforts. Good Luck Girls!
