Redingensians 5th XV (The VIPs) 34 - 0 Bracknell 4th XV

In the true spirit of rugby and the Thames Valley Invitation League, Bracknell travelled to The VIPs, with limited numbers, and were weakened further when two of the youngsters failed to show up (poor show boys!)...

The VIPs kindly agreed to play the fixture 13 aside, and balanced the teams with a player of two, and we would like to thank them for that. After all, this is grassroots social rugby, and the only winner that really counts is The Beautiful Game.

The resultant game was played with a smile, and allowed some of the Bracknell newbies to have a runout with some old stagers, such as Mark Findley, Dave Tonkinson, Bryce Phillipps and Dave Goad... Thanks to those guys for taking the lead and playing out of position when required.

Well done to Lewis in only his second game at BRFC for winning man of the match...
