Overall a very good performance from the lads with good individual attacking displays and an improved defensive platform. In spite of a well organised opposition, three tries were scored, two from the individual efforts of Luke Carter and one from Olie Jordan. Luke kicked for all available points and only missed one penalty at the end of the game.
The game was slow overall with both sides seemingly playing safe. However, all players had a good game with a number of turn over balls secured by various players.
Of special mention are:
1. Telu - his defence, coordinated with others, secured our midfield. This helped keep out the opposition in most instances. His crash ball was also excellent, and almost scored a try but held short by 4 players!
2. Tom King – good workhorse for the day. He was all over the place for the entire game!
3. Luke Carter – good running lines and decision making, rewarded with two tries.
4. Olie Jordan – his excellent communication greatly assisted the effectiveness of the Bracknell defence.
Man of match:
Luke Carter's attacking awareness and runs gave us the edge against the well organised opposition, just shading Tom King.
A good day at the office for coach Tony Jell and the rest of the twos team.
