Stags maintain unbeaten record

The last time the two sides met it was Amersham & Chiltern that won the encounter 78 – 29. Mark Findley and his team knew a good performance was needed if the Stags were going to maintain their unbeaten record in 2017.

It was Amersham & Chiltern that started the stronger team and took an early lead with a penalty and a unconverted try.

The Stags answered with trys from Bradley Walters and Dave Abbott. Both converted by Ben Radford.

Half time: 14-8

Again Amersham & Chiltern started the half stronger and scored an early converted try.

The Stags uped their game and responded with a second try by Bradley Walters, converted by Ben Radford.

Some further good Stags play resulted in a second David Abbot try following a great driving maul. This time the conversion from Ben Radford just going wide.

A late Amersham & Chiltern unconverted consolation try did not spoil the Stags victory celebrations.
