Henley Vikings 5 Bracknell Stags 58

Bracknell Stags got back to winning ways with a 9 try thrashing of a larger and more physical Henley 3s side on the first team pitch at Henley.

First half try's from Grant Coats, Liam Goodison, Gareth Staples, Chris Brember and Tom William, took the Stags into half time with a 32-0 lead over the home side. Head coach Dan Ap Dafydd (a happy man) told the lads just keep playing as you are in the second half.

The Stags started the second half slowly and at times seemed half asleep thinking the job had been done in the first half.

Henley opened the second half scoring with an unconverted try to finally put some points on the board.

It took the Stags 19 minutes into the second half before they scored a try by Simon Bayliss. The Stags were off and running again! Further try's from James Wright, a second try for Chris Brember, and a try from Nick Ovens meant the Stags had a 58-5 win at the final whistle.

Well done to all the lads that played. A special mention goes to four of the u18s making there debut for the Stags Ally Walton,Cameron Rastall,Euan Webster,and Elliot Maddison.........well done boys!
