Old Redcliffians 18 - Bracknell 0

The first time these two sides met was on the opening day of the in the 2013/14 season, Bracknell winning at Lily Hill Park 27-10, only to lose the return fixture 22-18 that season. Since then Bracknell had not suffered defeat at the hands of Old Reds although with Bracknell’s level transfer to London & SE division for last season the sides had not met since the 2014/15 season. Last Season Old Reds put in a good shift last season to finish sixth in the league and remain unbeaten at home for 2016.

Bracknell giving first team league debuts to Ben Sanderson and Greg Barrett. Also featured in the side was Michael Clarke returning from almost a year out with injury.

On a very wet day, it was Old Reds that we to make the best of the very wet conditions and took an 8-0 lead into half time. Bracknell were not able trouble the scorers in the second half and Old Reds added a further ten point to their first half time lead.
