We would like to take this opportunity to invite your school to the following girls’ rugby development afternoon. It is an opportunity to both introduce girls to the sport and build upon skills of existing players at U13 and U15 age groups.
As part of a recruitment initiative, Bracknell Girls are working with the local schools to create a club – school link.
The Club currently offers rugby for U13, with a view to developing an U15 age group and are keen to increase their player numbers at all age groups. The club welcomes all new players, irrespective of experience, ability and physical size – rugby is a game for all!
Predominantly aimed at those girls in Years 7,8 & 9, the girls will receive coaching from RFU Level 2 qualified coaches from England Rugby and Bracknell RFC. The aim of this event is to give players of all ability from within your schools the opportunity to receive some high quality coaching and some conditioned games experience.
It’s intended to be an enjoyable and fun introduction to Rugby. The overall aim is to grow the participation of girls in the game and hopefully to continue along a pathway at Bracknell Rugby Club.
When & Where:
Tuesday 12th March 4pm- 6pm
Bracknell RFC, Lily Hill Park, Lily Hill Drive, Bracknell, RG12 2UG
