Richard joined Bracknell RFC from his home club Havant RFC. He played a number of seasons for a successful Stags XV and a number of games for the 1XV in what is now National 2 South. He was a very popular member of all the teams that he played for.

Update:
We have received an update today to say that Richard sadly passed away from a heart related condition, exactly what still needs to be determimed.
Due to this there are further tests to be done and as such his funeral will be likely be approximately another 4 weeks away.
