You may be aware we recently held the NatWest Rugby Force day at the club to kick-start this work, however it’s fair to say that this was not a huge success - partly due to a lack of awareness, but also perhaps to the expectation amongst many that “someone else” would make it happen. As a result we only had around a dozen helpers, and didn’t make anything like the progress that we have to make before September.

For this reason we want to repeat the exercise on Sunday 14 August.

Please, please, please - we need as many of you as possible to give up a
couple of hours (yes that’s all) to help. There’s lots of painting, strimming, tidying and
shifting to be done – and if we get enough volunteers then we will make a huge amount of difference, and in return we’ll provide music, a barbecue and a beer!
